Phil Eiszele
Phil is a qualified engineer with over 27 years’ experience in the management of the delivery of port related and process plant infrastructure project. Phil has successfully delivered projects in Australia, USA and Asia. His experience has been gained working both as a consultant to port owners, operators and developers such as mining companies. Phil has performed the role of project manager and project director acting as the client’s representative in the delivery of project up to AUD $5 billion dollars and has performed those roles for ASX listed companies such as Patrick Corporation, BHP, for private companies such as Visy and for Government bodies.
Phil’s technical background enables full understanding of the scope and scale of projects, but his particular expertise is the management of risk and the development of risk mitigation strategies, either by the successful use of contractual terms or by negotiating the risk to parties who are better placed to manage.
In the past 10 years, Phil has successfully managed the delivery of upgrades to the Port Botany container terminal in Sydney, duplication of the coal export port in North Queensland, a ship unloading port in Sydney and the bankable feasibility study for a 350 million tonne iron ore export and fuel import port in Western Australia. For the feasibility study, Phil was the project director and signed the study on behalf of the delivery team.
