TfNSW (Transport for NSW) - Freight and Ports Strategy

"The Freight and Regional Development division of Transport for NSW contracted Portside Solutions Pty Ltd to undertake an examination on pricing and demand elasticity for the movement of containers to and from the Port Botany Container Terminals; as well as the Intermodal Terminals in the Sydney Metropolitan area.

The study and final report included a set of recommendations on any policy reform or variation to current systems and/or method of control.

This task was undertaken by the Managing Director of Portside Solutions Pty Ltd Mr Ray Lee in conjunction with George Stanley Pty Ltd. The assignment was delivered on time and within budget.

This study has now formed the basis for further work. As well, elements from the report have now been adopted and included in the NSW Freight and Ports Strategy to be published late October 2012."
